I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd like to share some real hope with you. In Psalms 146:4 tells the condition of the dead. In John 5:28-29 the bible promises a resurrection of our loved ones back to earth. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, he brought him back to earth. He's going to do that on a much larger scale in the future. In Psalms 37:11+29 says man will live forever on the earth in peace. That was God's original purpose, for man to live forever in the garden of eden. God's purpose hasn't changed. In Isaiah 45:18 says God created the earth to be inhabited. That's why he gave his son to die for us, John 3:16, so we could have everlasting life on earth. In Revelation 21:4 says there'll be no more pain or death. Since there's no pain or death in heaven, those are future conditions on earth under God's kingdom arrangement. JW.org

Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. I pray the love of God enfolds you during your difficult times and He helps you heal with the passage of time. This is a pic of my mom after she won a placing in an art contest on Derrick Days in Corsicana. The task was to paint the court house. My mom was very surprised she placed, and if I am being honest, I was too. My mom had a very abstract and unique perception throughout life and demonstrated that in her art which usually worked for the wealthy and reknown artist, but not a broke bloke. I had guilt for not really liking what I saw in her art that thankfully was eventually replaced with understanding how fortunate I was to have been brought up with such stand alone insight. A good portion of my life was spent thinking I was an advocate for this woman who in my eyes needed a buffer to expectations of a harsh society, but really I finally came to understand I was the student to higher thinking. If only I had more time with her. This day she was very happy and so was I.
