I remember her best for her willingness to take the time to listen to me and spend time with me and her other family members and friends. I believe she was a very good nurse because she was so caring and compassionate. She was a VERY genuine person who truly cared deeply for others. Oh one more thing I remember so vividly: she loved to laugh and really enjoyed having a good clean time. I VERY much enjoyed the sound of her laughter too!
Although I miss her now and know I will continue to for some time to come, I have faith and confidence that my God will continue to help me in any way I need. I wish the same for James, Nyle, Heather, Gail, Jamie, Casey and all of Judy's closest loved ones and other family members and friends. May our Good God wrap you all in his arms of tenderness, care and great love. May you experience the greatness of this love and care that only He can supply. Love and prayers always, Mike.

I have been trying to figure out what best to share, and I decided that this story would be ok and would please Judy.
Once upon a time there were three little pigs - James, Judy, and Pat(me). James may deny this, but I am 99% sure he was there. We went on vacation to Mississsippi one summer with my mother and daddy and Grannie Gilmore. Our transportation was a pickup with room for the adults in the cab, and we kids had to ride in the back. Daddy built sideboards around the pickup bed, and put a tarp on top to protect us from the elements. James was probably 12, Judy 10, and me, 8.
The drive was an all day affair, going about 50 - 55 mph. No air conditioning. Going on 2 lane roads, through every little town between Dallas, TX and Smithville, MS. At one of these little towns we were stopped at a red light. We heard the people in the car behind us talking about the pigs that must be in the back of the pickup in front of them. (Since they had no A/C, and had windows down, we could hear them plainly.) We thought that was pretty funny, so we stuck our fingers out between the boards so they could see there were humans in the truck. They started laughing and so did we. Over the years Judy and I laughed again each time we relived it.
Judy Lee was much more than just my cousin. She was a precious friend all of my life, and my dear sister of the heart. For the past 7 years or so we ended every conversation with "I love you all the time". But that's another story. I will always love Judy, all the time.
May God bless each of us as we deal with our loss.
